Libya could double the amount of oil it was producing before the war, but firms are waiting for an updated legal framework.

10/14/11 Call the office if you have any questions on whether your oil line is compliant.
9/30/11 My number one question I got this week is whether I think oil prices will continue to drop.  I wish I could answer that question or better yet be able to predict the price and make lots of money and retire early.  Prices have been unstable and nobody is able to predict what will happen this season.

5/6/11 Oil saw the biggest one day percentage decline since April 2009.  Oil has been over valued so it was just a matter of time before we saw a decline.
4/29/11 What a beautiful day!  71 degrees and the sun is shining. The weakening US dollar made commodities like oil cheaper to investors with other currencies.  What that means to us is that oil may remain high until the US dollar strengthens.
4/8/11 It looks like the spring weather is coming! Just in time because heating oil has gained 43% in the past year.
4/1/11 We can't control the rising energy costs but there are many ways to help your wallet. Contact the office and we would be happy to go over the different options.

6/14/10 Summer is here!!  Budget plans are starting.  Please contact the office for further information.  It is a great way to budget your oil for next season.
3/29/10

The EIA reported last week that crude inventories rose by 7.3 million barrels, a much bigger increase than analysts expected. So, my question for the day, why is the price increasing instead of decreasing?

3/19/10 The winter season is coming to an end.  After a rainy week with most houses getting water damage, it is nice to see the temperature in the high 60's.  Oil is nearing the top of its range over an 18 month period.
10/30/09 Oil is approaching its high for 2009 of $82 a barrel on evidence the U.S. economy, the world's largest, is recovering.
10/23/09

Prices soared to $82 a barrel earlier this week, the highest since October 2008, from $32 in December.

9/1/09

We've been in the $65 to $75 crude oil range for weeks now and until something breaks that pattern, it is here to stay.

8/10/09 Last year at this time crude oil was starting its decline from the peak, dropping over $20 per barrel in less than 2 weeks.  Wouldn't that be nice if that could happen again?

6/3/09 Oil prices have started to move downward.  Hurricane season is approaching and we will have to see if that will impact the oil market.
5/22/09 We are putting together a quarterly newsletter.  Provide us your email and you can start receiving it!
5/15/09 Although oil supply is at a 19 year high, we are still seeing the price of heating oil rising daily.  I would like to believe that I will understand how the pricing works at some point in my life but I won't hold my breath waiting...
5/8/09 We have had many calls wondering if we are offering a pricing protection program this year.  We have not decided if we will be having one.  We will know better in the next month or so.
4/24/09 NYMEX prices for heating oil are less than half of what they were a year ago.  That is some great news!!
4/17/09 Our budget season will be starting again in May.

3/11/09 OPEC is trying to influence the market by reporting more production cuts.  Some speculators see prices going up and others think that we may see lower prices in the next few months.  I wish I had a crystal ball!!

1/14/09 WEBSITE UPDATED: you can login into our website to pay your bill or look up your account information.
12/28/08 Oil prices have been falling so OPEC production cuts haven't impacted the price of oil. The last time we were at this price was on 1/23/2005.
12/11/08

The US Energy Information Administration said this week that it expected global oil demand to slump by 50,000 barrels a day this year and 450,000 barrels a day next year, representing the first year-to-year drop in world oil demand since 1983.

11/19/08 OPEC is talking about making production cuts.  They are meeting on November 29th.  We will have to see if this impacts the price of heating oil.
11/12/08 Crude oil is now almost $40 per barrel lower than it was a year ago.  WOW! Hard to believe.
11/5/08 Heating Oil has been dropping.  The million dollar question is, when do you think it will stop.
9/30/08 The market had its biggest loss yesterday which caused oil to drop but it didn't last long because today the price of heating oil is going up.
9/17/08 The financial crisis on wall street caused a big drop in crude oil this week.
9/10/08 Hurricane Ike closed some oil platforms in the Gulf of Mexico but oil prices still remain to drop.
9/3/08 There was no major structural damage from hurricane Gustav.  Refineries are still without power and platforms are still abandoned. Yet somehow, the price of oil has fallen a bit in the past week after the price spikes we saw due to the hurricane.
8/27/08 Hurricane Gustav is gaining strength and may affect oil production in the Gulf of Mexico.  We will have to see how this turns out. It will most likely cause an short term increase to the price of oil.
8/20/08 There have been reports that the supply is increasing while demand is decreasing.
8/13/08 In just a week, we have dropped our price by 21 cents.  Finally, some relief!
8/6/08 The price has been dropping. Hopefully this trend will continue.
8/5/08 We have decided not to offer any price protections program for this upcoming heating season.
7/1/08 August is the last month to join our BUDGET PROGRAM.  Please go to Services to get more information on this program.

1/10/07 The weather is playing a big factor on why oil is cheaper.  There is a chance that this year could be the warmest one on record.

1/1/07 Happy New Year!

10/18/06 Oil prices are still low but in the last few weeks not too much has changed.  The price has moved up and down but the range has been fairly stable. 9/13/06 Oil has dropped in the last few weeks.  The big question is will it continue?
8/23/06 Heating Oil inventory in New England is behind than last year at this time. We will have to watch and see as to whether this will impact the market.
8/16/06 The BP shutdown in Alaska may not be as bad as originally speculated.  As much as 200,000 barrels may continue to pump while the pipelines are being repaired.
